Finish Music for release in 30 days
I’m Craig, a music producer and mixing engineer with over 20 years in the industry. I help artists develop songs, record with confidence, and deliver mixes and masters they’re proud to release.
At Giving Hands Music, I combine my background in artist development, technical training, and dyslexia support to bring practical workflows, focus, and guidance to every project—helping your tracks sound competitive in the playlists.
For me, music production isn’t just about the technical side—it’s about trust and collaboration. My role is to respect your vision, identify your goals, and together, develop a pathway to your success.

-
Mixing

-
Mastering
Mastering ensures your music keeps its character adding certainty, loudness, and stability it needs to compete on playlists, radio, and live systems.
-

Hitting the same walls in your music? Whether it’s finishing tracks, improving your sound, or finding your direction, mentoring gives you the skills and clarity to break old habits and grow as an artist.
Turn your Song idea into Release-Ready Music
You’ve got the ideas, the tools, and the drive—but producing on your own has its challenges. Room acoustics can throw off your mix, endless plugins make it hard to stay focused, and even after hours of tutorials your tracks might still lack the punch and polish you’re aiming for.
You could continue tweaking hi-hats at 3AM, or you could work with a professional engineer who knows how to make your track commercially competitive. I’ll help take your raw ideas and elevate them into release-ready tracks with clarity, weight, and impact—so you can focus on creating, not second-guessing

I had a release on Peggy Gou’s Gudu label and had some issues with stems at the 11th hour. I worked with Craig at Giving Hands to mix down a pre-master and his attention to detail meant I was able to deliver a perfect premaster to the label. I would highly recommend Giving Hands music.

After years of working as a DJ I wanted to make the leap into music production. With Craig’s guidance, I learned how to use Ableton and successfully completed my Level 2 in Music Composition, alongside private training sessions that helped me refine and expand my skills.
Craig’s teaching style made the whole process really engaging. His explanations were clear, his patience unmatched, and the sessions always felt tailored to my own style and goals. Both my in-person group classes and online 1-2-1's were structured, practical, and incredibly relevant to the kind of music I wanted to create.
I’d recommend Craig to anyone looking to develop their production skills, whether you’re a pro or someone starting out fresh. His approach makes the overwhelming seem simple. -
Fractious
We have collaborated on a few tracks in the studio. My music theory knowledge is not the best so Craig really helped me with that and starting to understand this more. He also showed me a lot of techniques on the Maschine which I am now applying to my solo work.
His indepth knowledge of NI Maschine has definitely helped me with new idea's for tracks and improved my workflow.
Craig explained what he was doing with Machine clear and easy to understand, far better than any Youtube Tutorial I have watched. Demonstration or technical explanations were easy to follow and was aimed at my style of music I want to produce.
I’d recommend it for anyone who is looking for more knowledge with their DAW, VSTs, mixing, Maschine, mastering, even workflow. Craig knowledge on how everything works is incredible, from writing music to sound design!!

We worked on a track called 'selfie' i recorded vocals with Craig in AMPS Studio and he worked on the production, mixing and mastering of the track. Craig helped me forget the outside noise when it came to my lyrics and focus on what I like instead of what I thought people wanted to hear.
I found craig very helpful, so easy to work with, he brings a comforting and warm approach with instantly makes you feel at ease. Craig is always on hand to answer questions and give feedback inside and out if the studio.
I would recommend this for anyone starting out as a musician or starting to produce as craig has a great approach and is gentle with newcomers whilst also having extensive knowledge in production and mixing mastering and recording vocals and much much more.

Craig's guidance proved invaluable, offering diverse methodologies for translating my creative concepts into the Ableton software environment, while also providing assistance with track mastering.
Craig's contribution facilitated the completion of my track, "Voices," effectively transforming my aspiration of releasing original music into a tangible reality. His proficient mastering services enabled the seamless distribution of my track across prominent platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music.
I wholeheartedly recommend Craig's services to individuals of all skill levels; regardless of prior experience, each session offers the opportunity for novel insights and skill enhancement.

Craig was a fantastic mentor through the course. We learned how to navigate the DAW, programme drums, automation and sampling, amongst other things. By the end of the course we had each finished a track in full. I don’t think I would have been able to do this without Craig’s guidance. I still use the tips that Craig has taught me every time I sit down to make something.
He made the learning a fun experience. I would consider myself a kinaesthetic learner and Craig’s teaching was a very hands on and fun experience.
I would recommend this to anyone who has an interest in music production, whether you are just starting out and need to learn the basics or a seasoned producer who just needs a little bit of guidance or a track mix and mastered. 10/10

I started my music production journey during lockdown with Craig at Giving Hands Music, and his support has been priceless. Craig has a real talent for taking the ideas in my head and turning them into finished tracks, all while teaching me the process step by step.
I went from having no experience to getting my own music finished, signed, and released on Beatport. One of those tracks – along with the remixes – is still one of the label’s best-selling releases even a year later.
For anyone on the fence about starting their music production journey, I can’t recommend Giving Hands Music highly enough.

Craig has been instrumental to my development with Ableton, he has tutored me in regards to the DAW, its basic functions right through to the final mix ready for release, I like to think that I build the house and Craig does the wiring while teaching how too.
Our sessions resulted in several Freebooter releases, one played at Cafe Del Mar, one played on Ibiza sonica by the legend that is Mark Broadbent. we also worked on a a techno track under the DODDZ alias coming out on the superb Sonar Bliss label.

The main project we have worked on is my first EP (spotlight), we have worked on some single tracks and collabs with other artists too, which Craig was there from the recording stage right threw the mixing and mastering to the point they were ready for release, he made them all sound absolutely 1st class, we are currently working on more material
The main project we worked on my first ever EP (spotlight), Craig made sure he has finished to an extremely high standard, The Spotlight EP featured on shows such as the Skank FM show and the Chop it Up podcast by Hawklyfe.
Craig makes our sessions very engaging and very fun and at the same time being able to accomplish the goal we have set for that session in a timely manner, I literally learn something new from him every time I walk through those studio doors and overtime though Craig's careful guidance and advice, I have became so much more confident in the studio and When it comes to my delivery When recording (even the writing side of things too) he has also made me find new ways to become more creative while teaching me bits and pieces.
I would recommend Craig to literally anyone involved in music or who wants to be involved in music in any way shape or form, be it singing, rapping, producing or sound engineering, Craigs expertise and knowledge is very broad and can cater to any experience level or personality from the confident to the very shy, he will always give you his 100% as he knows nothing less
I believe Craig is 100% the best in the country at what he does and I could never picture myself going elsewhere.

We worked on, vocal recording, mixing and mastering of 4 guitar based rock songs, to a higher quality than we had previously achieved.
We also developed greater confidence doing vocal work in a studio environment.
The support was good and feedback sessions worked well, with some really good production ideas that we would not have explored ourselves.
We’d recommended this for anyone looking to explore studio time from novice to seasoned veteran.
Recording from home?
Let’s take it to the next level.
Self-recording can be overwhelming—muddy mixes, inconsistent sound, and hours lost tweaking settings. Without the right environment and experience, it’s easy to lose clarity, impact, and momentum in your project.
I can guide you through evaluating your room acoustics, improving recording technique, and delivering pro-level mixing that elevates your tracks. You stay focused on creating, while I make sure your music sounds confident, polished, and ready for release.
